Repair, maintenance and trimming tools

We keep your moulds in production: repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance of moulds built by us or by others.

Repair and modification

We repair and modify all types of plastic injection and blow moulds, as well as aluminium and zamak injection moulds. We apply more than 50 years of experience in mould design and manufacturing, always adapting to your needs.

A stopped mould means a stopped production line. That is why, before repairing, we inspect the mould, find the root of the problem and explain what needs to be done, what it costs and how long it takes. Modifications due to changes in part design, material or process are studied by our design office, just like a new mould.

How we handle a repair

01DiagnosisWe inspect the mould and send you a quote and lead time.
02RepairIn our workshop, with the same equipment we use to build moulds.
03Fitting and testingWe fit the mould and check that it works properly.
04DeliveryWe return the mould ready for production, with details of the work carried out.

Fast interventions

We act quickly, in our workshop or at your premises, to keep the impact on production as small as possible.

If a breakdown has stopped your line, call us and tell us what happened: we will let you know as soon as possible how and when we can act, and whether it is better to do it at your plant or in our workshop.

Preventive maintenance

Regular maintenance detects in time any anomalies that may affect the mould’s performance. This extends its service life and reduces repair costs.

We schedule inspections according to the cycles and use of each mould: cleaning, checking the cooling, guides and ejection, and replacing wear parts before they fail.

In-house equipment

We repair in our workshop with the same equipment we use to build moulds, which lets us control the quality and lead time of every repair.

Trimming tools

We design and build the tools needed after forming to trim excess material and flash.

Because we design them together with the mould, the trimming adapts to the part geometry and the production rate, and the part comes out ready for the next operation.
